How cancelling an order and getting a refund works on Rightly Sourced.

Sourcing requests aren't charged

Submitting a material-list requirement to get a quotation does not charge you anything. Payment is only requested as part of checkout, once you choose a quotation and proceed to place an order.

Cancelling an order

Orders can generally be cancelled before they've shipped. Once an order shows as Packed or Shipped in tracking, cancellation may no longer be possible, as the seller or delivery partner has already acted on it.

Refunds

Where an order paid online is cancelled or eligible for a refund, the refund is issued to the original payment method. For cash-on-delivery orders cancelled before dispatch, no payment is collected.

Pending business input — the exact cancellation cut-off (e.g. how long after placing an order, or up to which tracking stage), and the refund processing timeline in business days, have not been confirmed, so we have not published specific numbers. These should be defined and added here before being relied on by customers.
